Based in Rotterdam, De Zuid delivers a potent blend of power blues, folk, and indie rock. Formed in mid-2024, the band unites seasoned musicians from across the globe, each adding their unique flair to the mix.

Fronted by singer-guitarist Shanon Lake (Australia), whose raw vocals and fiery guitar work command attention, the band is elevated by guitar virtuoso Manuel Teijeiro (Uruguay), infusing Latin American warmth into their sound. Dutch bassist Michel de Groot lays down a solid, groove-driven foundation, while drummer Nicolás Godoy (Chili) fuels the band with his explosive energy.

Their dynamic live performances and a fusion of diverse influences, De Zuid introduces a refreshing breeze to the blues scene, proving that music is a universal language.
